چکیده
Currently in Malaysia, most wastes are disposed into poorly managed systems with little or no pollution protection measures. Large amounts of such as textiles generated through hospitals and health care centers. However, the improper management these abundantly may pose an environmental problems fire hazard. Cotton textile is a potential biomass for bioethanol production. Subcritical water (Sub-CW) hydrolysis was investigated alternative technology recycling cotton waste current management. The aim this study to investigate possibility complete conversion ethanol via Sub-CW fermentation. carried out facilitate cellulose component (cotton 75%+polyester 25%). divided two parts; (i) To evaluate subcritical parameters temperature time achieve maximum yield sugars. (ii) Fermentation hydrolysate obtained from ethanol. Under conditions (140 °C - 350 °C), reaction (1-10 min) ratio (3:1) showed that treated at 280 4 min, optimal maximizing sugar, which 0.213 g/g-dry sample. quantitative analysis by HPLC soluble carbohydrates phase were mainly composed glucose. glucose concentration, 171 mg/L then fermented 36 24 hours Saccharomyces cerevisae (yeast) Highest 0.415 g/g glucose, 81.2 % theoretical yield. Hydrolysis decompose simple sugar while keeping degradation minimal

Subcritical Water Hydrolysis Treatment of Waste Biomass for Nutrient Extraction
Nutrients were extracted from corn stalks, peanut shells, de-oiled peanut meal, chicken manure, and sewage sludge by a subcritical water (SCW) hydrolysis reaction. Compared with the other feedstock, the aqueous phases extracted from de-oiled peanut meal showed the highest watersoluble organic carbon, amino acid, total nitrogen, and phosphorus contents. The effects of solution pH, final hydrothe...
متن کاملHydrolysis of Corn Oil Using Subcritical Water
متن کاملSubcritical Water Hydrolysis of Peptides: Amino Acid Side-Chain Modifications
Previously we have shown that subcritical water may be used as an alternative to enzymatic digestion in the proteolysis of proteins for bottom-up proteomics. Subcritical water hydrolysis of proteins was shown to result in protein sequence coverages greater than or equal to that obtained following digestion with trypsin; however, the percentage of peptide spectral matches for the samples treated...

Subcritical water extraction (SWE) of essential oil from Matricaria Chamomilla L. (M. Chamomilla L.) was performed and compared with conventional method including hydro distillation. The percentage of main extracted components of different temperatures (100, 125, 150 and 175 oc) and water flow rates (1, 2 and 4 ml/min) were investigated at 20 bar pressure and 0.50 mm mean particle size in SWE....

Corncob is one of the industrial waste has cellulose content of 39.1 wt%, which makes it has high potential to be a raw material in the production of cellulose nanocrystal. Corncob was delignificated with 3.5 wt% HNO3 and NaNO2 10 mg, precipitated process with 17.5 wt% NaOH, and bleached with 10 wt% H2O2. Cellulose nanocrystal was obtained by hydrolysis using 45 wt% H2SO4. Corncob and cellulose...
